When he was only 16 years old, KCM Partner Joseph Chianese’s mother packed up his bags. Joseph felt terrible about himself. He was broken by what his mother had done to him and struggled for a very long time.

Although Joseph was not yet saved, he began to see God moving in his life after joining the Coast Guard. His success there led him to aviation school where he finally discovered his niche in life. He studied hard and was stationed in New Jersey, where he met and married his wife, Jeanne. Things were really beginning to look up for Joseph.

But shortly after they got married, Joseph began to exhibit his first symptoms of ulcerative colitis. It eventually got so bad, the military had to give him a medical discharge.

At this point in time, both Joseph and Jeanne became born-again believers and were introduced to Kenneth Copeland. They were amazed at how God addressed every issue in their lives with His Word They began to learn and understand that God is a God of integrity—He is a God who keeps His Word. Joseph repeatedly listened to all of Kenneth Copeland’s tapes on healing to completely saturate himself in the Word. Even with ulcerative colitis at its worse, Joseph didn’t allow it to dissuade his faith and trust in God’s Word.
